Of course, it’s no surprise Stefan would do this! He’s just become Elena’s personal saviour. I can’t imagine Elena ever getting hurt when Stephen is around, which is why he’s just so perfect (Ok, going off on a tangent here!)

Jeremy meets a new girl Anna and asks her to party with him in the woods, if you know what I mean. Naïve Jeremy doesn’t seem to be aware that Anna might have her own personal reasons as to why she wants to go into the woods with him! Careful, Jeremy, from hunter you just might be demoted to prey!

The clincher for Fool Me Once is still that mysterious tomb. Stefan, Damon and Elena team up with Bonnie and Grams in an effort to open the tomb and reveal what is inside! What they find inside is truly shocking, and leaves everyone at a loss of what to do! What do you think they found? More journals or more ancestors? As usual, we all have to tune in next week to find out!

The Dance has a 1950s theme, which of course, takes out characters on a little bit of a time warp. It seems that Damon and Stephen still look good no matter what kind of outfits they wear. At the Dance, Alaric finally introduces himself to Damon. You have to watch to see how Damon takes this introduction. Maybe sparks will fly?

The mystery of the new vampire in town still goes on unsolved. Stephen and Damon are still hard at work trying to close the case. Is this the week that they finally do it? I kinda hope it is, so that there are no more mysterious killings.

Meanwhile, to keep Elena safe, Stephan gifts her with jewelry filled with Vervain. Vervain is a mysterious chemical that can be put in food, jewelry and drinks to protect the wearer from vampires. As long as a person wears the vervain, he is not susceptible to a Vampire’s control.

Things get tougher for matt and he is forced to take a job to make ends meet. He starts work at the mystic grill. Let’s see how long this will last! Ben tries to become Bonnie’s hero when he notices Damon bothering her. Ben tries to help Bonnie out which could lead to some catastrophic results!

The episode aired on January after a month-long absence, and was of course greeted warmly by a lot of blood-thirsty fans. Here’s what went down in Episode 11: Bloodlines.

Who knew that Stephen and Damon had a long lost sister? The brothers get a very surprising visit from Maria, their sister who has disappeared for centuries. However, Maria is not back for a warm, family reunion. She has come back for revenge. On who, you all have to watch and find out! The brothers of course have the task of stopping Maria before she wreaks destruction on the whole town!

Meanwhile, Elena has a strange encounter on the road. She meets a man who tells her that he is vampire. That’s not all he does. The vampire bites Elena. Of course, Stephen eventually learns of this. And Stephen being Stephen, he seeks revenge against the unknown killer who has threatened to harm his Elena.

Maria is not the only new character in the episode. Alyssa makes an appearance too. No, she’s not a vampire but a witch. I wonder what kind of trouble she will bring to the show! We all have to tune in next week to find out!

This time, an unknown new vampire starts a killing spree.

Jeremy starts of the episode with a burst of inspiration. He gets back to an old forgotten habit of sketching fantasy creatures after he stumbles on a journal entry left by one of the Gilbert ancestors. Good for Jeremy as he’s all but forgotten about sketching since his parent’s died.

Matt and Caroline continue to hang out and spend time with each other despite their friends’ surprise. It seems that they were a pretty odd match from the start, don’t you think?

Damon offers to track down the mysterious killer when Sheriff Forbes informs him that there has been attack. Damon’s mission leads him to discover some pretty surprising news about the town’s founders.

On other matters, things get so awkward between Jeremy, Tyler and Mayor Lockwood that Alaric has no choice but to step in to dissipate the tension. Meanwhile, Stephan and Elena finally come to a new understanding but all that goes up in the air again when Elena accidentally discovers some devastating news.

Despite the new vampire in town, and the non-stop killing, this episode is not all bad. It ends with Elena telling Stephan those three little words. Of course, Elena’s I Love You is just the thing we need to keep on tuning in for yet another episode! It’s about time these two finally get their stuff together!

Stefan told Damon that he was going to be locked up for the next fifty years. Damon uses his powers to lure Caroline to his chamber to release him. Damon kills Zach as soon as he got out. Caroline escaped by running into the daylight. Because Stefan had Damon’s ring, Damon couldn’t survive in the light. He waited until nighttime and attacked Vicki.

Stefan tried to earn back Elena’s trust by telling her more about himself and his past. Elena wasn’t convinced and did some investigation for herself. She watched black and white footage of an old crime scene and saw an un-aged Stefan. She put all her suspicions together and confronted Stefan.

At their car wash, Bonnie splashed a girl using her witch powers. She also started a fire in a trance which Stefan pulled her out of. Stefan promised her he wouldn’t tell anybody about what had happened. Bonnie went to her grandmother and asked her for help. Vicki stole Elena’s left over pain pills. Jeremy got mad at her, putting a strain on their relationship.
