Episode 15: “A Few Good Men”
So here’s what happens in Episode 15, entitled “A Few Good Men”. Harper, the vampire who managed to escape from the tomb, kills a man in the woods and steals his clothes for his own. Matt and Caroline are in for a surprise when Matt’s mother Kelly suddenly appears.
Meanwhile, Stefan and Elena are worried about Damon’s new attitude. They don’t get his strange behavior. Damon has been asked by Sheriff Forbes to take part in a fund-raising bachelor auction. In return, he asks the Sheriff for information on Alaric. It is in this episode that Alaric discovers that his wife Isobel was Elena’s biological mother, and was turned into a vampire by Damon at her own request. Alaric confronts Damon, and the confrontation ends nastily when Damon stabs Alaric to death with a stake. However, Alaric comes back to life, as he is saved by a mysterious ring that Isobel gave him.
Elena continues to be determined to find out everything she can about her birth mother, but encounters warnings to stay away. Who could be behind these warnings? We have a feeling it is Isobelle herself. At the end of the episode, we all find out thatHarper will be staying with Anna and Pearl.
