Episode 11 – Bloodlines
Episode 11 of the Vampire Diaries was a much-anticipated one because of the production’s mid-season break! The episode aired on January after a month-long absence, and was of course greeted warmly by a lot of blood-thirsty fans. Here’s what went down in Episode 11: Bloodlines.
Who knew that Stephen and Damon had a long lost sister? The brothers get a very surprising visit from Maria, their sister who has disappeared for centuries. However, Maria is not back for a warm, family reunion. She has come back for revenge. On who, you all have to watch and find out! The brothers of course have the task of stopping Maria before she wreaks destruction on the whole town!
Meanwhile, Elena has a strange encounter on the road. She meets a man who tells her that he is vampire. That’s not all he does. The vampire bites Elena. Of course, Stephen eventually learns of this. And Stephen being Stephen, he seeks revenge against the unknown killer who has threatened to harm his Elena.
Maria is not the only new character in the episode. Alyssa makes an appearance too. No, she’s not a vampire but a witch. I wonder what kind of trouble she will bring to the show! We all have to tune in next week to find out!
