Episode 10 – The Turning Point
There’s no stop to the intrigue and mystery in the Vampire Diaries’ 10th episode. This time, an unknown new vampire starts a killing spree.
Jeremy starts of the episode with a burst of inspiration. He gets back to an old forgotten habit of sketching fantasy creatures after he stumbles on a journal entry left by one of the Gilbert ancestors. Good for Jeremy as he’s all but forgotten about sketching since his parent’s died.
Matt and Caroline continue to hang out and spend time with each other despite their friends’ surprise. It seems that they were a pretty odd match from the start, don’t you think?
Damon offers to track down the mysterious killer when Sheriff Forbes informs him that there has been attack. Damon’s mission leads him to discover some pretty surprising news about the town’s founders.
On other matters, things get so awkward between Jeremy, Tyler and Mayor Lockwood that Alaric has no choice but to step in to dissipate the tension. Meanwhile, Stephan and Elena finally come to a new understanding but all that goes up in the air again when Elena accidentally discovers some devastating news.
Despite the new vampire in town, and the non-stop killing, this episode is not all bad. It ends with Elena telling Stephan those three little words. Of course, Elena’s I Love You is just the thing we need to keep on tuning in for yet another episode! It’s about time these two finally get their stuff together!
