The Vampire Diaries is actually about the life of Elena Gilbert, a heartbreakingly beautiful girl who was recently orphaned. Starting fresh from the tragedy of her parent’s death, she meets two brothers who are actually vampires and falls in love with both of them! Stefan and Damon are the vampire brothers, and are as different as can be. You could say once is the nice vampire and the other is your typical bloodsucker.
Life for Elena and her vampire love triangle is never the same again. Her friends and other inhabitants of their small town, Mystic Falls are also dragged into the fray. They get in all kinds of adventures and misadventures with the slew of mystical monsters that suddenly show up- among them vampires and witches.
